Project Overview
The LIFEWISE project is a school-based, protective and empowering education programme for students aged 12–15. It focuses on helping young people handle everyday challenges such as stress, peer pressure and risky situations by strengthening their social, emotional and decision-making skills.
Through a 15-week life skills programme, digital tools and interactive activities like educational games and drama, LIFEWISE supports students in building positive behavioural changes and contributes to a safer, more supportive school climate. The project connects schools, NGOs and digital experts to promote well-being, inclusion and digital readiness in line with Erasmus+ priorities.
Project Objectives
- Life Skills Development: Strengthen students’ core life skills in stress management, emotional regulation, communication, empathy, critical thinking and decision-making.
- Well-being and Mental Health: Improve students’ overall well-being by helping them cope with pressure, manage emotions and protect themselves from risky behaviours in and out of school.
- Inclusion and Diversity: Support vulnerable learners, including girls, students from migrant, low-income or rural backgrounds and those with special needs, ensuring they are actively included in school and society.
- Digital Readiness: Use an e-learning platform and interactive digital tasks to promote digital well-being, resilience and safe online behaviour among students and staff.
- Capacity Building and Innovation: Equip teachers, schools and partner organisations with new methods, digital tools and international cooperation experiences to integrate life skills education sustainably into their programmes.
